Jon Whitfill, the artist installing a pair of sculptures for us in Evanston IL, is on his way here. In a truck. With his wife and 3 kids also in the cab. And the art on a trailer.
And all their luggage in the uncovered bed of the truck. A shame about the thunderstorms we're having today

The first pieces of the peripheral show are up

Here are flat works by EbM members 23E Studios, Alex Clausen, and Carson Murdach at Creative Coworking, 922 Davis, Evanston IL. This is the business of our friend Angela Valavanis. Angela is also helping us with the EbM book we're working on.
One of the two sculptures we are installing with Jon Whitfill is on the deck of this building, across from the Evanston Transportation Center.

This small show of EbM members' work is intended to answer the question we were often asked during install in Bledsoe,
"So if this is what you do as a collaborative, what are your individual practices like?"

Tomorrow (Saturday) I'll install the EbM works here. Monday Jon and I will start putting his works up.
