Columbian cafe in Astoria. Spent the morning at the Sunday farmer's market. Now this adorable little grill, reminiscent of so many short order grills I've loved in my time. Except everything is sourced local, the fish local caught, and the juices, beers, and drinks fresh squeezed, locally brewed, and hand mixed.
Sadly, the chef cut himself and had to go to the ER before our breakfast was made. Three person staff, meant that with server driving him there, they had to close up. We enjoyed fresh baked bread with fresh salsa, garlic jelly, jalapeno lime jelly, and cayenne jelly.
Then wandered down a block to a little cafe. Now we're off to visit museums.
