ESP in April

Hey Los Angeles!
May I suggest you get your butts over to A-B Projects in Claremont?

Charlie Schneider, an amazing artist whose work EbM fell in love with the moment we saw it (thanks for suggesting we check it out, board member Angela!) is showing there until April 17.
We like Charlie as much as we like his work. We commissioned him to create a work for our first coastal property -- whenever we get our first coastal property. (If you own some property on an ocean, and would like an artist made blow hole on it, let us know and we will buy or lease a bit from you.)

In the meantime, Charlie is the first artist installing as part of our ESP program. ESP is an attempt to use our sites in a continuous and evolving way, once they have work on them. Charlie will begin installing his pinhole cameras on our sites this June. He designed and built a pinhole camera security system for us. Once installed, the system will allow for constant surveillance of the sites, with no data retention threatening visitors' privacy.
Just from reading about those two projects, now you know why you want to go out to his show in Claremont, right?

But wait, there's more!

Our second ESP commission is Nicole Seisler. Even as I write, we are testing a traveling version of her amazing City Souvenirs project. This summer and fall we will be adding all of our extant sites to the City Souvenirs project.

Nicole is also the gallerist behind A-B Projects.
A-B Projects is located on the campus of Claremont Graduate University, 35 miles East of Los Angeles:
251 E 10th Street, Suite 113, Claremont CA
Exhibitions are open to the public Monday-Friday, 9-5.
